Consumer Price Index / Inflation December 2019

Inflation that occurred in Aceh Province (Combined 3 Cities) was caused by rising consumer price indices in Food expenditure groups inflation of 1.28 percent, Fast Food inflation 0.44 percent, Communication & Financial Services inflation 0.22 percent, and Education, Recreation and Sports 0.02 percent inflation. Whereas the expenditure group that experienced a decline was Clothing, namely deflation by 0.23 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel and the Health Group did not change (stable).

Year on year inflation (December 2019 to December 2018) for Banda Aceh City was 1.38 percent, Lhokseumawe City 1.20 percent, Meulaboh City 4.28 percent and Aceh Province 1.69 percent.

The Core Component for Aceh Province in December 2019 experienced inflation of 0.18 percent, the component whose Government Regulated Price was inflation of 0.24 percent, and the Turbulent component experienced inflation of 1.19 percent.
