Abstract

The number of workforce in February 2019 was 2,459 thousand people, up 105 thousand compared to February 2018. In line with the increase in the workforce, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) also increased by 1.51 percentage points.

In the past year, unemployment decreased by 18,000 people, in line with the Open Unemployment Rate which fell to 5.53 percent in February 2019. Judging from the level of education, the Open Unemployment Rate for Vocational Schools (SMK) is still the highest among other levels of education, namely 11.35 percent.
